Laserline opens branch office in India
Diode laser specialist Laserline is expanding its company representation in India into a fully-fledged branch office in response to business growth in the South Asian region in order to ensure short distances to customers in India and neighboring countries. With immediate effect, the company's representative office in Pune near Mumbai in western India has been converted into a fully-fledged branch office.
What is now the company's seventh foreign branch distributes the company's entire product portfolio and offers optimum support for existing customers through trained service technicians and a comprehensive spare parts service.
The company representation in the industrial city of Pune had already existed since 2009 and had emerged from a cooperation with the Indian company Lemon Integrated (later Laser Automation Pvt. Ltd.). With the expansion to an official branch, Laserline is continuing its strategy of optimal customer proximity in important target markets. The new branch in Pune is already the seventh Laserline subsidiary abroad after Santa Clara and Plymouth (USA), Sao Paulo (Brazil) as well as Shanghai (China), Seoul (South Korea) and Tokyo (Japan). With additional distribution partners in Europe (France, Great Britain, Italy) and in the Pacific region (Australia, Taiwan and, more recently, Singapore), the company is now represented on almost every continent.
