The headquarters of the new branch, with an area of 3,100 square meters, was opened on February 1, 2018 in Eastern Creek, Sydney. According to Terence Rayner, Managing Director of Lapp Australia, the new company is setting new standards for service and choice in the Australian market. To this end, customers will have direct access to over 40,000 standard items from the Lapp Group's global product ranges, in addition to a strong onshore inventory of over 1,000 product ranges. This is also of interest to customers operating worldwide who are represented in the Australian market. They can now also rely on the service and quality they are accustomed to in Australia.

According to Alexander Lapp, responsible for e-Business & Digitalization at Lapp, the investment by the Lapp and Rayner families in Australia is a clear vote of confidence in the local industry. "The Australian economy is set for strong growth in industrial automation solutions. We see great opportunities in this," says Alexander Lapp, who initiated the joint venture for the Lapp Group. According to forecasts, the automation market in Australia is set to grow to over 280 billion euros per year by 20241. "Thanks to our long and successful relationship with the Rayner family of entrepreneurs, we can now inspire customers in Australia together," emphasizes Alexander Lapp.
