Intec/Z connect 2021
Leipzig trade fair network 2021 purely digital
Due to the ongoing pandemic situation in 2021, the trade fair duo Intec and Z will take place exclusively digitally from March 2 to 3 under the motto "Intec/Z connect". The centerpiece of the event is a top-class online congress on current topics in the industry. Other components of Intec/Z connect 2021 include a virtual expo with interactive product presentations and a digital networking platform.
Intec/Z connect 2021 will be opened on March 2 by Michael Kretschmer, Minister President of the Free State of Saxony, Martin Dulig, Saxon State Minister for Economic Affairs, Labour and Transport, Prof. Dr. Reimund Neugebauer, President of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, and Markus Geisenberger, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe.
The opening will be followed by keynote speeches - including from Dr. Wilfried Schäfer, Managing Director of the German Machine Tool Builders' Association (VDW), on the current situation in the machine tool industry, and Prof. Dr. Martin Dix, Director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Machine Tools and Forming Technology IWU, on the production of tomorrow. One topic that is of particular concern to the industry is the transformation of the supplier industry. With Dirk Vogel, Network Manager at AMZ - Netzwerk Automobilzulieferer Sachsen, Leipziger Messe has been able to attract an industry insider as a speaker.
Participation in Intec/Z connect 2021 is free of charge for visitors. Professionals who would like to find out about relevant industry topics at the digital event and gain an insight into the latest developments from exhibitors can register now on the event website.
