After leaving Universal Robots on June 30, 2020, Helmut Schmid founded HS Auxsilium based on his experience. "The services include startup and sales consulting, as well as support as an interim manager and industry expert for the key areas of automation, robotics and AI. In particular, young high-tech companies with great ideas and product designs, but also those that are already in the development or implementation phase, should be supported and benefit from the extensive experience they have gained themselves in order to successfully position their company on the market in the future," according to the press release.

Schmid announced that he had stepped down as Managing Director of Universal Robots (Germany) and Regional Sales Director Western Europe for personal reasons. However, he will remain strategically and supportively connected to the group of companies as an industry expert. Schmid built and developed Universal Robots (Germany), the company he founded in 2016, from a start-up to a market and industry leader and established it as a partner in the markets in the Western and Northern European regions for which he was responsible. He now wants to pass this experience on to young companies. as
