Hawe Hydraulik: Axel Schwerdtfeger becomes new CTO
On January 1, 2019, Axel Schwerdtfeger will take over the role of CTO and thus the Product Portfolio Management division at Hawe Hydraulik. He replaces Martin Heusser, who has successfully managed and significantly shaped the development of the company's products for more than two decades.
Martin Heusser and Axel Schwerdtfeger have been working hand in hand for three years now. During this time, Axel Schwerdtfeger, as "Head of Development Management", primarily supported the management and restructuring of this area as well as process design. Before taking over the Management Board position, he was able to familiarize himself with the company, the market environment and customer requirements from various perspectives. He has held management positions in the Hawe Group in production in Germany and abroad and in systems engineering.
Martin Heusser, who started at the company as a design engineer and then successfully managed and significantly shaped this area of the Management Board for 22 years, will remain with the company for a few more years in an advisory capacity as a creative spirit.
