End-to-end software solution scenarios
The PSI Group will be presenting end-to-end industrial software solution scenarios from the areas of production, logistics, service and asset management at the Hannover Messe from April 23 to 27, 2018 in Hall 7, Stand A 24, using the practical example of e.GO Mobile AG to demonstrate the integrated production and logistics process live at the trade fair stand. Industrial applications of several artificial intelligence (AI) methods based on the Java-based PSI framework will round off the trade fair presentation.
In addition to classic enterprise resource planning (PSIpenta/ERP), e.GO Mobile AG uses the fully integrated components of worker guidance at the workstations, production technology and equipment, status display and visualization as well as workflow-based process control. The software solution used is rounded off by the integration of transport systems, just-in-time/just-in-sequence provision of materials (e-Kanban) and warehouse management. In service and asset management, the focus is on maintenance management functions, with the optimization of order processing using the Qualicision application being demonstrated in particular.
Based on the Java-based PSI framework, PSI will be presenting AI solutions that have already been successfully used in industry for many years. These include practical examples for optical tire control, traffic flow optimization, tracking of suitcases in the airport area, prediction of energy requirements for pricing and energy feed-in of renewable energies as well as optimization in depot management. The Java-based PSI framework for bundling different AI techniques such as convolutional neural networks, advanced fuzzy logic, operations research and analytical methods allows new applications to be modeled across the board in a single environment. PSI thus offers the expertise to adequately use the respective AI methods to optimize the customer process.
The DeepQualicision application, a combination of learning with artificial neural networks and Qualicision extended fuzzy logic, will be presented as a trade fair innovation. With DeepQualicision, self-learning optimization parameters can be calculated that enable an optimized setting with regard to the customer's goals and key figures. Multi-criteria decision support solutions as well as optimizing production control and process automation will also be presented in the MES environment with the Qualicision optimization software. Among other things, Qualicision solves the main tasks of planning and control processes in the automotive industry. Simulations and optimizations in production planning, in strategic budget and capacity planning as well as in operative personnel deployment planning are examples of further fields of application. As an optimization logic, Qualicision is an integral part of many PSI software solutions.
