Femworx: New career congress for women in the industry

As part of the Hannover Messe, Deutsche Messe is organizing a two-day career congress for women for the first time on April 25 and 26, continuing the successful Women Power series with a new name: Femworx stands for the career of women in industry.

The Femworx career congress promises to be one of the most successful networking and discussion events for women when it comes to diversity, career advancement, sustainability and new working environments, the organizer Deutsche Messe is pleased to announce. The decision to integrate the congress even more closely into the Hannover Messe and extend it to two days is in response to the wishes of exhibitors: "The topic of careers is at the top of the agenda for many companies. Industry in particular needs more women from the MINT sector in management positions. With the Femworx congress, we are strengthening career opportunities for women and offering a unique platform for knowledge exchange and networking," says Dr. Jochen Köckler, Chairman and CEO of Deutsche Messe.

The Femworx program offers a wide range of inspiring speakers. It consists of lectures, panel discussions and interactive workshops as well as networking opportunities to empower women at all career stages. The accompanying exhibition offers the opportunity to find out about career perspectives, studies, coaching and mentoring offers as well as other labor policy topics and trends.

Call for Papers is open

The main topics for the workshops, lectures and discussion rounds are Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Career and New Work. New topics are Finance, Health and Gender Design. All interested parties who would like to actively participate in the congress are invited to take part in the Call for Papers. The documents can be downloaded online here. The deadline for submissions is December 20, 2023. The presentations should be assigned to the above-mentioned thematic blocks.
