Groundbreaking ceremony
New R+W headquarters in Wörth am Main
R+W, a specialist in the field of industrial and precision couplings, is building its new headquarters in Wörth am Main and creating more space for production and administration. The ground-breaking ceremony took place on February 12 in the new "Weidenhecken" industrial estate in Wörth am Main.
The new company headquarters will cover around 7,000 square meters, of which around 2,500 square meters will be production space and around 1,000 square meters will be office space. "The planned building offers us ideal conditions for growth thanks to its size and the way it is tailored to our needs. This will enable us to significantly increase our capacities in a short space of time - this has become necessary due to our strong growth in recent years," says Managing Director Steffen Herter.
During the ceremonial speeches, it became clear that the choice of location was made in close consultation with the parent company Poppe + Potthoff from Werther, Westphalia. The investment totaling over 8 million euros is a clear commitment by the family-run group of companies to the location and its employees. The mechanical engineering sector is booming, so the direction of travel for the company is clear - further growth. In addition to investing in the new office and production space and production equipment, this also means expanding the German and international team and investing in product development.
With the move to the new premises in late summer this year, R+W will be able to realize its strategic goals and meet the growing demand.
