FMB-Süd: Impulses for new developments

Suppliers to the mechanical engineering industry will be presenting their products and services at FMB-Süd in Augsburg on February 12 and 13, 2020.

The signs are clear: the boom in mechanical and plant engineering has reached its temporary end point. For 2019, the VDMA expects a decline of two percent, while the (optimistic) forecast for 2020 is also minus two percent.

This is not good news. But at least behind closed doors, decision-makers in mechanical engineering also see positive aspects after several years of extreme capacity utilization. According to them, companies now have more time to optimize their products, test new technologies and seek cooperation with new suppliers.

FMB-Süd, which will take place in Augsburg on February 12 and 13, 2020, is the ideal forum to start implementing these plans. More than one hundred exhibitors have already booked stands and will be presenting their range of products and services for the mechanical engineering industry in a compact format. For the fourth time, visitors to the trade fair will be given an overview of the mechanical engineering supply chain - from metalworking to drive, electrical and control technology and assembly and handling technology to industry-related services and robotics. as
