Farasis Energy presents electrical solutions for battery technology

Farasis Energy, developer and producer of high-performance battery technology and pouch cells for electromobility, is presenting innovative electric solutions at LogiMAT (April 25-27) in Stuttgart. The focus of the battery solutions is on material transportation.

Premiere atmosphere in Stuttgart at LogiMAT: In Hall 9, Stand A30, Farasis Energy will be presenting the Atlas module, which has already proven itself in the industry, to the specialist public for the first time. "Customers in the material handling sector have high demands when it comes to electrifying their vehicles," says Dr. Keith Kepler, CTO and co-founder of Farasis Energy. "Making the best use of the available space is an important factor in achieving the required performance. Depending on the vehicle, we can fit between 2 and 40 Atlas modules in a forklift truck, offering between 6.8 kWh and 272 kWh." This power enables a long range and fast charging; the modules only need to be charged once or twice a day, a lunch break can be sufficient. In addition, the module enables high performance in short intervals, e.g. when lifting heavy loads and recovering energy when lowering the forks.

High flexibility

For many customers, it is important to be able to further develop the module according to their requirements. "We support this by enabling, for example, the integration of electrical connections and safety elements, cell monitoring and BMS - to name just a few options," explains Dr. Stefan Bergold, General Manager at Farasis Energy Europe. "Our comprehensive portfolio of engineering services - from market-leading battery cells to module and battery customizations based on an adaptable design platform - are possible at any time," Bergold continues.

Indoor and outdoor use

The Atlas module not only supports the performance of electric forklift trucks indoors, but is also perfectly suited for outdoor use as it is encapsulated and therefore very robust. Regardless of environmental influences such as rain, heat or uneven surfaces, the module maintains constant performance. At the heart of the Atlas module is Farasis Energy's next-generation NMC cell chemistry, which ensures the highest safety and performance standards as well as a long service life.
