Mick Schumacher has impressed for years with his stringent pursuit of improvement. The 20-year-old son of seven-time Formula 1 world champion Michael Schumacher has long since created his own identity and, as a member of the exclusive field of drivers in the FIA Formula 2 Championship, is now one of the best young drivers in the world.

Michael Mohr, EVP Sales SSI Schaefer, comments on the partnership: "Mick has a great passion that impresses us. Giving everything together, gaining experience, taking on challenges and working on a solution with the highest level of focus - that's what connects us as a company with him."

Mick Schumacher has been driving for the Italian PREMA team since 2016. The 2018 European Formula 3 champion was promoted to the Formula 2 team in 2019 and was also accepted into the Ferrari Driver Academy's young driver development program. As part of this program, Schumacher took part in tests in Bahrain for the Ferrari and Alfa Romeo Racing Formula 1 teams as a young driver in April. "I am delighted to welcome SSI Schaefer as a partner because we share the same core values: down-to-earth, striving for success, innovative solutions and long-term thinking and action. 'Think Tomorrow.', that suits me too," says Schumacher.

Various joint activities are planned to accompany the partnership. In the fall, Mick Schumacher will take part in a panel discussion at an in-house industry event with international logistics users, expert talks, keynotes and live demonstrations of the logistics systems.
