Euroblech seeks digital champions
For the third time, companies from the sheet metal working industry are invited to take part in the Euroblech online competition in five categories at Euroblech, the trade fair for sheet metal working, which takes place in Hanover from October 23 to 26, 2018.
The competition is now taking place at the following link: https://www.euroblech.com/2018/deutsch/awards/. Companies will be recognized for best practice, innovation, excellence and exceptional performance. The five winners, one in each category, will be selected by experts from the sheet metal working industry via an online voting system from September.
This year's competition motto "On the pulse of digitalization" forms a thematic basis around digital and automated processes. The five categories represent current topics in the digital context of the sheet metal working industry: Companies with excellent use of networked production methods can apply for the first category, "Digital Transformation". The second, "25 Euroblech trade fairs", is looking for the funniest Euroblech anecdote from the past 25 trade fairs. The third category, Cyber Security, is open to pioneers in secure data exchange within a production environment in sheet metal working. The fourth category is "Best Start-Up" and honors the outstanding performance of young companies in the industry. Pioneers in lightweight construction and component design can apply in the fifth category, e-mobility.
All companies or organizations from around the world that can present excellent work and fit thematically into at least one of the five categories are eligible to apply. The deadline for all entries is August 31, 2018, when the entries will be published on the Euroblech website. The entire sheet metal working industry can then vote online for the winner in each category until September 30. On the day of the awards ceremony, the winners will be officially announced and will receive the prize. The winning entries will also be announced on the Euroblech website. as
