E+E Elektronik: successful certification

Sensor manufacturer E+E Elektronik has successfully completed certification in accordance with IATF 16949:2016, confirming that the company's quality management system meets the strict requirements of the automotive industry. The successor standard to the previous ISO/TS 16949 is recognized and required by the world's most important automotive manufacturers.

The Austrian company develops and produces sensors and transmitters for humidity, temperature, CO2, dew point, moisture in oil, air velocity, flow and pressure. The high-precision measuring devices from E+E Elektronik are used in building technology, the process industry, meteorology, environmental and agricultural technology as well as in clean rooms.

In the automotive industry, humidity sensors as part of state-of-the-art control circuits enable the adjustment of fuel mixtures, the control of air conditioning systems or the detection of dew on windows. With quantities in the millions, the highest quality standards are required. This is why the company has already been certified in accordance with the automotive standard ISO/TS 16949.

The company introduced a quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001 25 years ago and thus anchored the quality factor in its corporate strategy. E+E is now certified in accordance with the current ISO 9001:2015, which is also an integral part of the new IATF standard.

In addition to innovative products and high quality standards, E+E attaches great importance to environmental protection and the careful use of resources. Membership of the Austrian Climate Alliance and an environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001 are therefore a matter of course for the company.
