DXC Technology and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have signed a global cooperation agreement to establish a "DXC - AWS Integrated Practice". The agreement will run for several years. The aim of the agreement is to provide Fortune 1,000 customers with modern services such as IT migration, application transformation and business innovation.

This enables customers to adapt more quickly to digital transformation and dynamic market changes. To this end, DXC and AWS offer secure, cloud-first solutions that combine Amazon's AWS cloud with DCX's enterprise services.

The new "DXC-AWS Integrated Practice" is the core of a far-reaching agreement between the two companies that will include joint development, marketing, sales and delivery of AWS solutions. It builds on the existing DXC-AWS solution and focuses on enabling customers to smoothly migrate their existing IT environments and applications to the cloud. This offering responds to increased customer demand for integrated, secure, industry-based solutions that leverage AWS cloud technology.

Accelerating digital transformation

"The agreement combines our deep expertise in digital business services and industry-specific know-how, such as DXC's Industry Intellectual Property, with the power of the AWS cloud to accelerate our customers' digital transformation," said Mike Lawrie, Chairman, President and CEO of DXC Technology. "Not only will our customers achieve a whole new level of performance and productivity, but they will also save money. The money saved can in turn be invested in groundbreaking new digital technologies that will benefit their customers, employees and all stakeholders."

"This agreement reflects a commitment for DXC and AWS to make it much easier for longtime and new DXC customers to leverage the cloud with the best functionality, the strongest innovation, the largest partner ecosystem and the most extensive experience in helping companies scale. This will provide customers with the best combination of capabilities to help them evolve and differentiate their customer experience."
