Change of managing director at Comsol Multiphysics
Dr. Thorsten Koch has been the sole Managing Director of the Göttingen branch of the Swedish simulation specialist Comsol Multiphysics since 1 July. This marks the end of a transitional period of around one and a half years, during which he managed the company together with Gerard Hegemans. Hegemans is moving to the Supervisory Board and will in future act in an advisory capacity for the European Comsol offices.
As a physicist and long-standing senior employee, Dr. Koch has a wealth of experience in the simulation industry. He is delighted with the responsibility he has taken on and intends to drive forward the positive business development in Germany and Austria.
Koch describes the responsible challenge as particularly appealing to him: "The world of simulation is in a state of upheaval due to the rapid advance of digitalization. Thanks to our innovative products, anyone can simulate today, not just experts. I look forward to working with my team to provide future-oriented solutions for our customers."
