"With the new name Solids Dortmund, we are doing justice to the steady growth and increasing internationalization of the last eight bulk solids trade fairs," emphasizes Daniel Eisele, Group Event Director of trade fair organizer Easyfairs. The ninth trade fair for granule, powder and bulk solids technologies and the first under the new name Solids will take place at Messe Dortmund on November 7 and 8, 2018. Over the years since its premiere in 2006, the proportion of international exhibitors has risen to just under 20 percent. The proportion of visitors was around twelve percent.

In this way, Solids Dortmund also wants to emphasize its affiliation to Europe's largest network of trade fairs for granulate, powder and bulk solids technologies. Together with the Solids Antwerp, Rotterdam, Zurich, Krakow and Russia events, Dortmund has long been a heavyweight in the Solids European Series (SES) organized by Easyfairs.

Together with Solids, the fifth edition of Recycling-Technik Dortmund will open its doors in the Dortmund exhibition halls in November. The two trade fairs will be accompanied by the 4th German Fire and Explosion Protection Congress and the 8th Urban Mining Congress, which will be held in parallel. as
