Yaskawa Europe is entering the new 2019 financial year with a new management team: Manfred Stern, previously President & CEO of the European subsidiary of the Japanese technology group, handed over operational management to Bruno Schnekenburger on March 1 after more than eleven years. He was previously COO of the company and was previously responsible for the robotics division for over four years. Manfred Stern will continue in his role as Regional Head of Yaskawa Europe.

"Bruno Schnekenburger has made a significant contribution to the success of Yaskawa in Europe in recent years and is therefore ideally qualified to take over the CEO position," said Stern, who will continue to hold his position on the board of the Japanese parent company and will concentrate mainly on further networking with associations, social groups and politics within Yaskawa Europe.
