Takeover

Bechtle acquires Swiss Acommit AG

Bechtle AG acquires Acommit AG, Horgen, one of the leading Swiss service providers for software and IT infrastructure solutions. Founded in 1983, the company is a recognized specialist for ERP software solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics/NAV and the in-house development DIAS.

Acommit employs 60 people at its sites in Horgen, Wallisellen, Lyss and Lucerne and generated sales of around CHF 14 million in the past financial year. The IT service provider has a broad customer base of more than 200 medium-sized Swiss companies. The previous owners Martin Küng, Christoph Kleiner, Erich Wieser and Robert Zanzerl will remain with the company in an unchanged management role. The company name will also be retained.

"With Acommit, we have gained a very well-positioned company for Bechtle. We are delighted that an excellent team of specialists in the future-oriented area of Microsoft Dynamics software solutions is joining us," says Andreas Staudigel, Executive Vice President Application Solutions at Bechtle AG. Acommit focuses on creating industry-specific ERP solutions, particularly for customers in the retail sector, and concentrates primarily on the digitalization of business processes.

Acommit's customers benefit from the even broader range of IT solutions, the cloud portfolio and the Bechtle Group's cross-vendor infrastructure offering. "Our competencies fit perfectly into Bechtle's range of services. The merger will also strengthen our own market position and enable us to provide our customers with even more comprehensive support in the areas of user solutions, software engineering and IT infrastructure. We are convinced that the two companies are an excellent fit and can enrich and benefit from each other," says Robert Zanzerl, CEO, Acommit AG. Both partners have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
