The regional trade fair series all about automation will kick off its trade fair year on January 15 and 16, 2020 in the Hamburg-Schnelsen exhibition hall with a special edition for the northern region. Around 150 exhibitors will be represented at the trade fair for industrial automation. 129 companies were at the last trade fair.

all about automation in Friedrichshafen, which will take place on March 4 and 5, 2020, is also on course for growth. At the end of October 2019, the organizer, Stuttgart-based untitled exhibitions, announced that the exhibition space would be growing again. 211 exhibitors took part in 2019, and visitors will be able to meet even more suppliers in 2020.

It is important to trade fair director Tanja Waglöhner that the range of topics is not expanded: "all about automation offers everything to do with industrial automation, from suppliers of individual components to service providers for the implementation of complex automation solutions. But only that. This specialization is important to us and is appreciated by visitors."

In Hamburg in January, everything will revolve around tried-and-tested components and systems for industrial automation and practical solutions for the digital transformation. An important component of the exhibitor portfolio are the engineering service providers based and operating directly in the northern region and thus the specialists for the implementation of complete automation solutions. Specialists for robotics applications will also be strongly represented at the trade fair again in 2020.

The visitors to the trade fair mainly come from a catchment area of up to two hours by car around the trade fair venue and reflect a mix of the industrial automation application sectors represented in the northern region. The focus is on mechanical and plant engineering and the electrical engineering industry.

Visitors to all about automation in Friedrichshafen come from the international Lake Constance region and increasingly also from the whole of southern Germany. Tanja Waglöhner comments: "Automation users are also increasingly coming to Friedrichshafen from the Stuttgart area, Ulm and Augsburg."

Other topics that will be the focus of the trade fair in 2020 are industrial communication, IIoT, safety and security and control cabinet construction. as
