Award from Brose
"Key Supplier Recognition" to Desoutter
In July, Desoutter received the "Key Supplier Recognition" from Brose Fahrzeugteile, based in Bamberg. The automotive supplier presents this award to selected suppliers every two years - out of a total of over 5000 suppliers worldwide. The decision as to who receives this award is based on a fixed list of criteria.
Desoutter supplies the manufacturer with controlled screwdriving technology, including for the assembly of door systems. The company has made a major contribution to the standardization of Brose production processes, according to the award citation. Brose has 63 production plants worldwide. Each of these locations is linked to a so-called lead plant, where technical specifications and standards for processes and structures are defined worldwide. All lead plants are based in Germany and are managed directly by Desoutter.
"With our products and services as well as our strong global and local organization, we have made a significant contribution to Brose being able to implement its standards across the board in some areas," said Desoutter CEO Marco Fuhrmann at the award ceremony in Bamberg.
"The award shows us that we are perceived extremely positively by our key customer and that we are doing the right thing," emphasized Fuhrmann. "We are delighted and would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this. This success will continue to spur us on to outstanding performance!"
