"Best Mainboard Distributor 2018" award for Rutronik
An increase of 86% compared to the previous year and therefore the best turnover and unit sales result ever achieved by a distributor: For this achievement, Fujitsu presented Rutronik with the "Best Mainboard Distributor 2018" award at the end of April.
According to Mario Klug, Senior Manager Product Marketing at Rutronik, the enormous increase in the number of boards sold in the 2018 financial year is due to the company's forward-looking purchasing policy. In contrast to competitors, the company was able to deliver during the last-time-buy phase of the last board generation with simultaneous allocation. As a result, the distributor was able to increase its already high share of the distributors' total business with Fujitsu boards to around 38 percent, putting it in the lead. Fujitsu itself was able to increase its share of the mainboard market in EMEA from 14 to 17.5 percent. Thorsten Engel, Product Sales Manager Boards at Rutronik, who was honored with the "Best Business Developer 2018" award, played a major role in this success.
At the award ceremony, Peter Hoser, Director Systemboard OEM Sales and International Business at Fujitsu, said: "Rutronik has been the official distributor for Fujitsu industrial mainboards for 14 years now and is therefore an enormously important partner on our way to becoming the leading manufacturer of industrial mainboards in EMEA. We owe our success to a very large extent to the dedicated and loyal support of Rutronik and are therefore all the more pleased to be able to honor the company as "Best Mainboard Distributor 2018", but also "Best Business Developer 2018"."
