Volker Waller new COO at Framo Morat
On February 25, 2019, Volker Waller took over responsibility for Framo Morat's operating business as the new Managing Director Operations.
Waller's core task at Framo Morat, a company of the Franz Morat Group, will be to take responsibility for the areas of production, purchasing, production process management, industrial engineering, QM/QA and maintenance. Born in Swabia, he joined Framo Morat in 2012 as Head of Purchasing. In 2013, he took over the overall management of Strategic Purchasing at the internationally active group of companies. Since 2018, Waller has been responsible for production-related areas in metalworking as Operations Manager at Framo Morat.
Prior to this, Volker Waller was Head of Purchasing and Materials Management at a medium-sized drive technology company for eight years. He began his professional career as a purchaser at an international technology group headquartered in Franconia. He worked there for a total of 17 years in various functions and business areas, most recently as Purchasing Coordinator for Precision Engineering.
With a view to the challenges of the future, Waller's agenda includes, in particular, the further technical development of its core competencies and the expansion of digitalization in production. as
