Hanover Fair
Smart production
At the Hannover Messe, SEW is using the assembly of the e.GO electric vehicle as an example to show how flexible automobile production will be in the future.
The example is an excerpt from the automobile factory of the future, the production of e.GO in Aachen, which the Bruchsal-based company is helping to shape as part of smart production with mobile, intelligent and networked assistants as well as the classic electric monorail system. The new, compact DCA.. low-voltage drives from SEW are used in the load handling devices (driven rollers) of the mobile assistants. The new CM3C servomotors and PxG precision servo planetary gear units are used in other areas of the sample production. The Driveradar concept is used to ensure that the components, solutions and the entire system can also be monitored during operation. The company is thus presenting intelligent, scalable services for the smart factory that increase product, solution and overall system availability as part of an OEE. as
