This spring, Wittenstein is showcasing a Delta robot with integrated, intelligent gearboxes and cynapse feature from alpha. The smart gearboxes make drive trains fit for digitalization.

Sensor element, evaluation and logic functions are seamlessly integrated - the IO-Link interface ensures universal Industry 4.0 connectivity. Building on the intelligence and communication capabilities of the new gearbox generation, the company is currently developing a portfolio of smart services that already enable condition monitoring today. Wittenstein will also be presenting a new small servo drive system from cyber motor. The size of this system has been reduced by around 30 percent compared to the previous version. It has a multi-EtherNet interface, which allows the user to choose freely between the Ethercat, Profinet, EtherNet/IP CIP Sync and, in future, Sercos III fieldbus variants using the same hardware. According to the company, there will also soon be a CANopen variant. The motor-integrated variant, the cyber dynamic system (CDS), is an ultra-compact unit that fits into the tightest installation spaces and complicated mounting situations.
