Smallest interface on the market
With the new Ixxat Inpact M.2, HMS is expanding its Inpact card series for PCIe and PCIe Mini with a compact card in M.2 2260 (Key B-M) format.
Slave interfaces for Profinet, Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT, Modbus-TCP, Powerlink and Profibus can thus be easily implemented in compact or mobile devices for service, configuration, data analysis or process data visualization. In addition, embedded computer-based controllers can be integrated directly into higher-level networks with the Ixxat Inpact.
A driver package for Windows, Linux, Intime and QNX is an integral part of the card series. It enables rapid development of customer-specific applications, regardless of the card type and protocol used. Based on a standardized programming interface, it is possible to switch between protocols and card types without changing the customer software.
The connection to the fieldbus or Industrial Ethernet network is made via special bus interfaces, which are connected to the Ixxat Inpact M.2 via a cable. In addition to the cards with pre-installed network protocol, the Industrial Ethernet variant is also available in a multi-protocol variant (CE variant). as
