Servo drives
Now also with Profinet interface
The compact AC servo systems of the Sigma-7 series from Yaskawa can be found in packaging machines, semiconductor production and wood processing systems or in digital printing machines.
In addition to EtherCAT and the Mechatrolink-III high-speed bus, the drives now also support the Profinet interface. The series includes narrow single and double-axis amplifier modules for 200 or 400 V in a space-saving design, which can be arranged in a row without gaps in the control cabinet and optionally wired via daisy chain. This enables control cabinets with a high power density. The servomotors cover outputs from 50 W to 15 kW with supply voltages of 200 or 400 V. Alternatively, linear motors or, at 200 V, torque motors can also be operated on the same amplifiers.
Encoders with a resolution of 24 bits ensure precise control and short settling times. This makes the servo drives suitable for demanding positioning tasks. Preset parameters simplify commissioning. The "tuning-less" function automatically adapts the controller parameters to changing load cases. If required, the "auto-tuning" function enables quick adaptation to the machine if the requirements remain the same.
