Web configurator for screw jacks and high-speed screw jacks

ANT Antriebstechnik has significantly expanded its selection of types and variants of worm gear screw jacks and high-speed screw jacks. Together with platform specialist TraceParts, the company is currently developing a CAD-compatible online configurator for design engineers, which will go live at Motek.

The online provision of all available standard versions and, in particular, the ability to transfer the corresponding CAD data from the configurator directly into common CAD systems such as Solidworks, ProE, Catia, Inventor and many others, should significantly improve the availability of screw jacks and high-speed screw jacks. In addition, the online tool is designed in such a way that, once a configuration has been completed, it offers the option of requesting a specific quotation as well as paving the way for ANT engineers to further optimize the selection made.

The company will also be showcasing a number of versions of the NM series worm gear screw jacks (trapezoidal screw), the NG series high-speed screw jacks (ball or trapezoidal screw) and the NH series high-performance screw jacks (ball screw). In the fall of last year, ANT put a new production hall into operation, expanding its usable area for CNC production and assembly to around 3,000m2. In the course of this, new machines were installed and a number of process optimization measures were implemented - for example, a significant reduction in set-up times for picking and machining ball screw spindles over 6 m in length.
