R+W continues to grow and relocates
R+W on course for growth: the company moved into the new headquarters building to mark its 30th anniversary.
The reason for the new building was the continuous growth of R+W Antriebselemente, which will be celebrating its thirtieth anniversary next year. More space was needed for production and administration. A new company building with around 1,000 square meters of office space and 2,500 square meters of space for production was built on the approximately 7,000 square meter site. The location was chosen in close consultation with the parent company Poppe + Potthoff from Werther, Westphalia.
It took just one year from the submission of the building application in October 2018, to the start of construction work in January 2019 and finally the move in October 2019. More than eight million euros were invested in order to meet the growing demand in the industry and to continue implementing R+W's strategic goals. An inauguration ceremony for the new company building is planned for fall 2020 together with the celebration of the company's 30th anniversary.
