R+W builds new headquarters in Wörth
Ground-breaking ceremony in the Weidenhecken industrial estate: R+W, supplier of industrial and precision couplings, is building its new headquarters in Wörth am Main and creating more space for production and administration.
The new R+W headquarters will cover around 7,000 square meters (around 2,500 square meters of production space and around 1,000 square meters of office space). "The planned building offers us ideal conditions for growth thanks to its size and the way it is tailored to our needs. This will enable us to significantly increase our capacities in a short space of time," explains Managing Director Steffen Herter.
The ground-breaking ceremony was celebrated on February 12 with the workforce and important representatives of the region. In the ceremonial speeches, it became clear that the choice of location was made in close consultation with the parent company, Poppe + Potthoff from Werther, Westphalia. The investment totaling over eight million euros is a commitment by the family-run group of companies to the location and the employees of R+W. The mechanical engineering sector is booming, so the direction of travel for R+W is clear - further growth. In addition to investing in new office and production space and production equipment, this also means expanding the German and international team and investing in product development.
With the move to the new premises in late summer of this year, R+W intends to realize its strategic goals and meet the growing demand. as
