Mounting the signal transmitter directly
SMC has revised its quarter-turn actuators from the CRB1 series. The D-M9 series signaling devices can now be mounted directly, axially or laterally. This means that the design is even more compact and installation is even quicker and easier.
Two connection options for signaling devices are integrated in the revised quarter-turn actuators of the CRB1 series from SMC. The D-M9 series signaling devices can be mounted directly here. Users benefit from faster and simpler installation, a more compact design and more scope in their applications. The complete model range comprises a total of four housing sizes (50, 63, 80, 100). They can be mounted using a mounting plate or foot mounting
Up to six different swivel angles, different shaft designs and numerous ordering options enable users to find the optimum solution for their application conditions in the standard range. For those who require a higher torque but still have limited space, SMC offers a double rotary vane drive that can swivel through 90 degrees and 100 degrees.
The rotary vane quarter-turn actuators in the CRB1 series are widely used in typical applications such as robotics, material handling and all rotary movements or clamping applications. Thanks to their compact design, they are also frequently found in applications where space is limited. This quality is now further enhanced by the directly mountable signal transmitters. This makes the unit even more compact and space-saving overall.
