The latest development was intended for a company in the premix and nutrition industry. The expert in the processing of highly concentrated additives and vitamins ordered a transport solution for the safe and fast weighing of ingredients. The WDW engineers finally designed the WDW Dosing Jet vitamin trolley. This consists of an aspiration hood, operating joystick, screen, base frame, hydraulics, control technology and two scales. With this structure, weights of more than 500 kg have to be moved precisely on a rail system. The vitamin trolley is used in combination with a paternoster system.

To enable ergonomic transportation, those responsible at WDW opted for Blickle's ErgoMove 1000 electric drive system for loads of up to 1,000 kg. Blickle's castors have the ability to carry a high payload, which made them the right choice for this project. With their integrated motor and electromechanical parking brake, they can be precisely controlled, enabling extremely precise travel paths and giving the customer very good control over the WDW Dosing Jet. WDW sees a further advantage of the ErgoMove rollers in their seamless integration into the overall system control. They can be easily integrated into the existing control concept using the CANopen bus system.
