Networked drives
Nord Drivesystems' exhibited components include the Nordac Link field distributor series for applications in networked intralogistics systems. The drive controller for flexible installation close to the motor is available as a frequency inverter (up to 7.5 kilowatts) and as a motor starter (up to three kilowatts) and offers fast commissioning as well as simple operation and maintenance.
The field distributor is freely configurable and can be easily integrated into all modern systems thanks to its integrated PLC and compatibility with all standard bus systems. The networked drives can communicate their status data via the control system or directly to a secure cloud. This enables predictive maintenance. The recording of performance data also ensures optimized system dimensioning and continuous status monitoring of the drives.
In addition to intelligent networking, cost-effective special solutions are often required, which can be achieved by reducing the number of variants, for example. Nord offers plug-and-play technology for this with its Logidrive systems. They consist of standardized IE4 geared motor variants with rated outputs of up to 5.5 kilowatts, a two-stage helical bevel gearbox and a frequency inverter. as
