New trainees at Lenze
The first day is done
Excitement and anticipation were in the air when 38 junior employees started their careers at automation specialist Lenze on August 1. The new Lenzians are starting their careers in ten commercial and technical apprenticeships and degree courses - and were given valuable insights on their very first day.
Christian Wendler, CEO of Lenze, took the opportunity to welcome the new employees personally: "We are delighted to welcome you to the Lenze family today. You have chosen the right company and I would like to motivate you to be courageous and creative and to contribute new ideas. The willingness to keep learning and to be open to new things is in Lenze's DNA and is the best foundation for your professional future."
An exciting time begins
Henning Kautz, Head of Education and Training at Lenze, also congratulated the newly qualified apprentices and students on their move. "You have an exciting time of intensive learning, growth and personal development ahead of you. During this time, we will provide you with the know-how and tools of the trade and will always be on hand with help and advice."
Because an unforgettable day includes nice surprises, all trainees and dual students were presented with a laptop, a T-shirt with a Lenze print and a pair of safety shoes.
First training courses already completed
And the talents have already learned a lot. After being welcomed by the Management Board, the training manager and the responsible trainers, training sessions were on the agenda. Brian Michaelis, Head of Occupational Safety, explained the most important rules for working safely. After a detour to the canteen for lunch, trainer Christian Beyer explained some of the basics of IT security while he and his new colleagues put the computers into operation. One focus was on cybersecurity, which is of central importance for global companies like Lenze.
In an exciting company rally, the trainees and students took a close look at various areas of the company before heading off for their first well-earned break. The 38 talented young people are starting out at Lenze as electronics technicians, IT specialists, mechatronics technicians, warehouse specialists and industrial clerks as well as dual students.
