Neugart: New Managing Director Supply Chain

The gearbox specialist Neugart has expanded its management team: Holger Obergföll has been the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) Supply Chain since May 1, 2019. In this newly created role, he is responsible for the management of all internal and external supply chains.

As a business graduate and Master of Management with a focus on corporate strategy, Holger Obergföll has many years of experience in drive technology and machine control as well as in lean management. He focuses on supply chain processes in warehousing and inventory, the optimization of production processes with Water Spider and the management of international downstream material flows within the EU and worldwide.

The strengthening of the supply chain with a dedicated COO was part of Neugart's strategic realignment: the manufacturer of planetary gearboxes, headquartered in Kippenheim in southern Baden, is currently responding to current market requirements with a comprehensive overall package of hardware, tools, supply chain and services. In an increasingly demanding economic environment, speed and efficiency are the key factors in the realization of functioning gearbox-motor combinations. Each individual phase of the process chain poses specific requirements - and calls for corresponding solutions: from planning and configuration to production and delivery through to service during operation.

With this new appointment, Neugart's management team now consists of Bernd Neugart and Thomas Herr (both Managing Partners) as well as Matthias Herr (Managing Director Business Development), Bernd Cihlar (Managing Director Technology), Andreas Beinroth (Managing Director Finance and Administration) and Holger Obergföll (Managing Director Supply Chain). as
