Networked production in the modular factory

At SEW-Eurodrive, the focus is on the modular and adaptable factory. Work processes and associated workstations can be redesigned "on-the-fly" in assembly at short notice based on the customer's order.

The Bruchsal-based company's mobile assistance systems and modular process modules form the basis for this. This enables optimized, space-saving and adaptable factory layouts. The company also offers solutions and services for planning and implementing a networked factory. Starting with advice on factory planning, visualization in virtual reality, optimization using augmented reality, training courses through to apps and the digital twin of a product. SEW also offers solutions for condition monitoring and predictive analysis using DriveRadar. DriveRadar determines the process parameters from all drives used, visualizes system statuses and provides early, predictive recommendations for action derived from this so that possible failures are detected in good time and production runs optimally. The data for this can be obtained and analyzed from all SEW products and system solutions. For asynchronous motors, data can be supplied via an integrable sensor board. In this way, a large number of drives can be made fit for digitalization. as
