Gearbox innovations for robotics and mechanical engineering

Nabtesco is presenting the new Zeta series of solid and hollow shaft gearboxes specially developed for robotics. The main characteristic is the extremely high rigidity.

Compared to the RV-N and RV-C series gearboxes, the bending and torsional rigidity are each up to 20 % higher. This ensures high precision. The modular gearbox concept also guarantees high flexibility, availability and cost-effectiveness. The first sizes are already available specifically for robotics, and the portfolio will be successively expanded.

With the Neco series gearboxes, Nabtesco has made robot technology accessible for machine and plant construction. The gearbox series has now been expanded to include sizes for heavy-duty applications. The Neco HT high-torque gearboxes achieve nominal torques of 3,800 to 7,000 Nm and guarantee precise positioning with large masses and forces.
