The gearboxes are available with diameters of 22, 32 and 42 millimetres. They achieve top values for both torque and speed. Compared to the previous models, the input speed has been more than doubled to over 10,000 rpm. In intermittent operation, it can reach up to 20,000 rpm. The 42GPT series can achieve an intermittent torque of up to 25 Nm with a length of only 71 millimeters. The GPT gearboxes are designed for maximum robustness and tolerate both constant and very abrupt and heavy load changes. At the same time, they are significantly shorter than other models with the same diameter.

The gearboxes can be equipped with up to four reduction stages. Each stage has been individually optimized for maximum performance in terms of torque and speed. One of the key features of the product family is the high number of available reduction ratios and their very even distribution. This allows the motor power to be optimally utilized: A higher torque can be achieved with the same input speed, and a higher speed with the same torque. In addition, power consumption is significantly reduced compared to previous models. Thanks to its minimal backlash, the new GPT family is suitable for tasks with precise positioning.

With their high performance values and great robustness, the gearboxes in this new product family are suitable for various demanding applications. Their compact design matches the new flat brushless motors of the BXT family, especially when small installation space is one of the limiting factors of the target application. In addition, the gearboxes can be combined with a wide range of DC motors. They are suitable for various types of robots - inspection, assembly, rehabilitation or exoskeletons - as well as for manufacturing and laboratory automation, packaging machines, measuring and testing equipment or semiconductor handling.
