Linear DC servomotors

General solution for linear actuators

Faulhaber has expanded its product family of linear DC servomotors with the new LM 1483. The new drive is equipped with a continuous force of 6.2 N and a peak force of up to 18.4 N. It therefore offers customers the entire performance spectrum with continuous forces from 1.02 N to 9.2 N and peak forces from 2.74 N to 27.6 N. Like the other models in this family, the LM 1483 also combines acceleration up to 220 m/s2with a repeat accuracy of up to 120 µm or 40 µm. The actuator with dimensions of 14 x 20 x 83 mm and a slider rod diameter of 6 mm is available in various stroke lengths from 20 to 80 mm.

The linear actuator achieves between 6.2 N and 18.4 N.

In addition, the stainless steel slider rod is fitted with welded cover plates that provide a robust and reliable interface to the application. Thanks to the three integrated analog Hall sensors, the -11 version can be easily combined with the manufacturer's motion controllers, which include the MC 5004 and MC 5005 as well as the MCLM 300x. The -12 version is also available for sin/cos control. sw
