JAT expands Jena site
Jenaer Antriebstechnik is building a new production and technology complex in Jena. By the end of 2019, the development and production of individual drive solutions will be managed from here.
JAT, a leading manufacturer of customized servo drive systems, is expanding its site in Jena in response to the sharp rise in demand for customer-specific solutions. A new 2500 square meter production hall with a technology building is currently under construction. By the end of 2019, the development and production of the company's customized complex drive systems will be managed from here. In addition to a production hall with a storage area, the new production and administration building will house a department for technology and product development.
"New modern workplaces for around 140 employees will be created here," says Stephan Preuß, Managing Director of JAT. "We want to continue to create a good mix and attract young employees, some with new ideas and new knowledge, plus older employees with a wealth of experience, and offer them an attractive working environment." as
