Gearbox, inverter and maintenance via app
Nord Drivesystems is presenting three new products in Hanover: A new generation of industrial gearboxes optimized for high thermal power limits, new frequency inverters and a maintenance solution.
Among other things, Nord has expanded its industrial gearbox series. The new two-stage Maxxdrive XT helical bevel gearboxes have been specially optimized for applications in which low ratios are required in combination with high performance. The output torques are between 15 and 75 kilonewton meters with a ratio range of 6.3 to 22.4. Seven sizes are available for outputs from 50 to 1,500 kilowatts.
The series is equipped with a heavily ribbed block housing and an integrated axial fan as standard. The enlarged surface area and the air guide hoods optimize the air cooling flow and achieve a high thermal limit performance. This means that additional cooling options can be dispensed with in many cases. Large roller bearings and center distances increase the load capacity and service life of the components.
Versatile, networked, powerful
With the new control cabinet inverters in the Nordac Pro family, Nord is focusing primarily on functionality, connectivity and modularity. They have a power range from 0.25 to 5.5 kilowatts. Different device variants can be assigned to different application requirements.
The modular series can be functionally expanded using plug-in operating, safety and option modules. The compact design in booksize format enables space-saving installation in the control cabinet. Parameterization can also be carried out without an external power supply. The Nordac Pro comes with various interfaces, including an integrated industrial Ethernet connection, a USB port and an SD card slot for parameter data storage and transfer. The device also has a powerful PLC for drive-related functions.
Service via app
With the Nordcon app and the Nordac Access BT Bluetooth stick, the company has created a mobile commissioning and service solution. The app offers a dashboard-based visualization that can be used for drive monitoring and fault diagnosis. The oscilloscope function can be used, for example, to optimize a machine drive during operation. The drives can be easily parameterized thanks to the integrated help function and quick parameter access. The app also offers additional functions such as a parameter backup and recovery function. as
