The Atex-certified servomotors in the Ecospeed series from Jenaer Antriebstechnik (JAT) are suitable for applications in Ex zones 1 and 2 - for example in the painting, plastics processing, printing and chemical industries. With a peak torque range of three to twelve Newton meters and rated speeds of 500 to 5,000 revolutions per minute, this product family covers a wide range of industrial applications. The motors have a compact design with flange dimensions of 88 millimetres. The manufacturer emphasizes the motion performance and long service life. Temperature sensors on each motor winding protect against overheating. JAT can supply the ATEX drives at short notice. pb
