Steering in a narrow aisle
Bonfiglioli has introduced electric drives for modern intralogistics processes. These include idle steering systems from the 601W0E series, which are typically used in the rear of three- and four-wheel counterbalanced forklift trucks, for example in counterbalanced forklift trucks with a lifting capacity of one to 3.5 tons.
They can also be designed as axle or steering units for twin wheels. Depending on the model, the steering units have integrated vibration dampers and are used to support holding devices. The steering works electrically or hydraulically and offers a large steering angle. This ensures a minimum steering radius of the industrial truck so that narrow aisles can be navigated. pb
