Innovative through research seal of approval
ebm-papst honored for research
For its research and development work, fan specialist ebm-papst has been awarded the "Innovative through research" seal of approval by the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft for the third time after 2014 and 2016.
Since 2014, the Stifterverband has been awarding the seal of approval to companies in the field of research and development, thus honoring their efforts as drivers of innovation. The award, which is valid for two years, honors companies "that demonstrate a special commitment to research and development", according to the association.
"The increasing demands of digitalization require us to continuously bring new innovations to the market in this area as well in order to further expand our technological leadership. We are therefore delighted that our high level of innovation activity has once again been honoured with the 'Innovative through research' seal of approval," emphasizes Dr. Bruno Lindl, Group Managing Director for Research and Development at ebm-papst.
With its think tanks in Dortmund and Osnabrück, ebm-papst has already further expanded its research activities in the field of digitalization and the development of new business models. These "think tanks" are intended to continuously bring new innovations to the market. The company also cooperates with universities and research institutes, such as Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences and the University of Stuttgart. as
