For variable-speed operation of such machines, which often only have one or a few drive axes, the Nordac Flex SK 200E frequency inverter can be mounted directly on the motor or close to the motor on the machine.

Even if such mostly mobile systems, such as pumps for the wine industry or floor grinding and cleaning machines, are straightforward in design, the conveyed media often place high demands on the drive control. The decentralized Nordac Flex 200E frequency inverter is ideal for applications such as mobile conveying or dosing in process technology and areas of application with similar requirements.

The inverter generates the control voltage itself and can be easily controlled and operated locally using a switch and rotary potentiometer. Smaller logic functions can be executed by the device itself via the integrated inverter PLC. The Nordac Flex SK 200E demonstrates its high flexibility in the operation of particularly energy-saving synchronous motors, which are useful for continuous-running motors. In dosing applications, it can also implement precise specifications for dosing quantities via the integrated Posicon positioning function.

High control quality at low speed

The frequency inverters in the Nordac Flex series are characterized by their high control quality. The drive control, which extends into low speed ranges, prevents strong turbulence. The drive systems ensure high-resolution adjustment of the flow rate and can also measure the density, temperature and volume of the medium with the help of external sensors.

The inverter also ensures that the motor starts and stops smoothly, enables self-regulating speeds that adapt to specified pressure ranges with the appropriate sensors and offers effective dry-running protection.
