Compact performance in one unit
The new Hägglunds Fusion drive systems, a Bosch Rexroth brand, make the space-saving Hägglunds drive concept even more compact.
The complete hydraulic direct drive solution can now be mounted on the torque arm. This opens up the benefits of the solutions for a wide range of applications. The new drive system offers users in materials handling, mining and other industries a plug-and-play solution.
With the Fusion drive system, all components are mounted on the torque arm, from the hydraulic motor and pumps to the housing. This enables high torque and high reliability from a single unit with a small footprint. There is neither a gearbox nor a foundation and no alignment is required. There is also no need for hydraulic lines and hoses.
The advantages of the Hägglunds solution are particularly clear for systems in the lower performance range, such as apron conveyors, belt conveyors, belt conveyors and feed belts. Simple installation is another advantage of the drive systems, which are very economical in the long term compared to electromechanical drives. In these applications, the hydraulic solution is of great advantage due to the frequent changes between starting, stopping and reversing. The Hägglunds solution offers high torque from zero speed and integrated overload protection.
