Corona pandemic: Faulhaber wants to ensure supply
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, demand for medical equipment is increasing, particularly in ventilation and laboratory technology. Drive systems from Faulhaber ensure reliable operation in these applications. The company is doing everything it can to ensure supply.
The demand for drives is increasing enormously, especially for medical and laboratory technology applications such as ventilators, infrared cameras for fever monitoring and automated sample analysis or laboratory systems. Faulhaber is taking the current situation into account and is doing everything necessary to maintain operations during the coronavirus pandemic and supply customers with drive systems, the company announced in a press release.
However, the health of the employees has top priority. At the production sites, work is being carried out to fulfill delivery orders in compliance with the maximum possible protective measures. Adapted shift schedules are designed to keep the risk of absenteeism as low as possible. Restrictions on the use of social areas such as canteens, tea kitchens or break rooms as well as virtual meetings instead of face-to-face meetings are intended to further reduce the risk.
