IDAM becomes Schaeffler

Schaeffler is now also standardizing its brand and external image on the Friedberg in Suhl. The location is being renamed: INA - Drives & Mechatronics (IDAM) is now called Schaeffler Industrial Drives.

The standardization of the external appearance is part of the "Global Branding" project, an initiative of the "Agenda 4 plus One" future program, with which Schaeffler is implementing the "Mobility for tomorrow" strategy, as the company announced. The standardization is to be completed at all 170 Schaeffler locations worldwide by the end of the year.

In recent months, the headquarters in Herzogenaurach and the respective corporate headquarters for the Automotive and Industrial divisions in Bühl and Schweinfurt, among others, have been reorganized. INA, LuK and FAG as well as other product and service brands will be retained, but will only be used with the associated product and together with the Schaeffler corporate brand.

Dr. Stefan Spindler, Chief Industrial Officer of Schaeffler AG, unveiled the Schaeffler logo at an employee event in Suhl.
