Bühler Motor: Technology location in the Detroit area
Buehler Motor is now offering even more direct service to its automotive customers in the Detroit area. The new sales and technology location in Farmington Hills, MI offers space for up to 16 employees and is part of Buehler Motor, Inc. based in Morrisville, NC.
Sales staff, project and concept engineers as well as application engineers will find a fully equipped office, including a laboratory, to respond quickly to customer requirements. If required, engineers from the European headquarters in Nuremberg, from the North American branch in Morrisville, NC or from the plant in Chihuahua, Mexico can be called in at short notice for extended on-site support.
"The expansion of our intensive on-site support is our response to the growing trust that our North American customers place in us. Existing and new customers alike have entrusted us with numerous new projects for our bFlow C water pump family and our bFlow O gear oil pump platform, among others, and we will do everything we can to prove ourselves worthy of this trust," says Peter Muhr, President & CEO of the Group.
The development from a 2nd tier to a 1st tier supplier played an equally important role in the decision for the new location. "As a direct supplier, we have an even greater obligation to the OEMs. Intensive support and competent assistance not only ensure fast reactions, but also that problems do not arise in the first place," adds Mark Furtwängler, President & General Manager Buehler Motor Inc.
The official opening took place on March 28. The importance that Bühler Motor attaches to its new sales and tech office is underlined by the presence not only of President & CEO Peter Muhr and President & General Manager Buehler Motor Inc, Mark Furtwängler, but also of Director Product Segment Thermal & Emissons Dr. Sven Urlaub and the head of the production plant in Chihuahua, Mexico, Cristina Sánchez. kp
