Faulhaber has developed the new Faulhaber BXT motor family based on classic external rotor motors. Thanks to new winding technology and an optimized design, the brushless DC servomotors deliver torques of up to 134 mNm with a diameter of 22, 32 or 42 mm. As the motors are only 14, 16 or 21 mm short in the axial direction, they can also be accommodated in confined spaces.

Applications include robot grippers and industrial automation. The motors deliver a continuous output of up to 100 W. Customer-specific modifications to the electrical and mechanical interface are available. The series is designed for speed ranges up to 10,000 rpm and can be combined with various gearboxes, encoders, brakes and controllers. The motors are available with or without housing.
