Hedelius' highlights include the premiere of the Marathon SR518 18-pallet storage system in combination with the company's most powerful compact machine, the Acura 85, and the large tool magazine. With 500 x 500 mm pallets, a 700 mm interference circle and a transfer weight of 470 kg, the new pallet storage system is designed for the automated machining of larger, heavier parts.
The Acura 85 5-axis machining center with 50 kW spindle and 264-position standby tool magazine offers up to 344 tool positions. A special feature of the automation concept is loading from the machine side. In addition to the Acura series with rotary/swivel table, Hedelius will also be exhibiting two machining centers from its Tiltenta series with infinitely variable swivel main spindle.
